In 2018 I read my first book about Python, "Python Crash Course," and my interest never really stopped growing. These days I still reach for it for automation, data wrangling with pandas, and quick scripts — and it's often the language I use to prototype an idea with an AI pair-programmer before it becomes a real feature.

In 2020 I discovered Flutter for mobile application development and decided to take two courses on Udemy to learn the basics. Since then I've shipped a few apps and games to Google Play, and it's also what this very site was originally built with before I moved it over to a plainer stack. These days I've moved on to Angular and Firebase for new work, but Flutter is where I first learned to build for the web.

Angular on top of Firebase is my daily driver these days. Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, hosting — that combination powers Rooster 365 for real teams scheduling real shifts, week after week. I write the architecture and the product decisions; Claude and I write the code together.
